Random Acts was founded when Lynda Whiting and David Fioritto met while working for “The Lab of the Rippers Mystery Company." While reading a script (and not laughing) the idea hit them to combine their talents! Since Lynda knew FUNNY and David knew MUSIC, Random Acts Interactive Musical Murder Mysteries was born! Now 10 years later Random Acts travels throughout the USA entertaining at restaurants, hotels, Army bases, casinos, zoos, parks, museums, on trains, boats and busses, in castles, country clubs, private homes, school gymnasiums, and even in swimming pools custom designing performances for ANY venue! Corporate Team Building Events, Mystery Mansions, Week-end Whodunits, Kids Mystery Theater, Company Roasts and Interactive Cabarets are all about getting YOU, the audience involved! Shows are 1/3 script, 1/3 improvisation and 1/3 music, with tons of audience participation for those who like to be the center of attention and sing-a-longs for those who want to clap along from the sidelines. Actors will not curse at you or force you to come onstage and do the hula. (Unless you really want to... it's not in the script.) Your special occasion will be woven into the storyline whenever possible. There is a real mystery to solve with clues that lead to only one solution. That is why we call them Murder Mysteries!
