Shootin' Stars, a 1949 radio re-enactment  was written in 2003 as a sequel to 1939 Radio Murder. It has been performed for hundreds of groups and is a favorite at retirement communities, hotels, restaurants and casinos.  No preparation is needed to step into roles in Copnet Random Act's Dragnet spoof!
Once upon a time in 1949, “Deep in the Heart of Texas,”  there lived a  DJ with a deep, deep dark past.  Why, it was so dark and so deep... even HE didn't know about it!  Come take a “Sentimental Journey” and sing along with us... but first a word from our sponsor!
